UNLF condemns killing of woman at Moreh

Imphal, May 23: Proscribed group United National Liberation Front (UNLF) today strongly condemned the killing of a working lady at Moreh at around 4 pm yesterday.
The working lady identified as Shanti was shot dead by firing indescrimitately by armed miscreants at Moreh premnagar  by two gunman. The signed by M. Sak-hen, Director, Department of Publicity UNLF said that the killing of the lady was committed by hired agents of the Indian Security Forces. It said even the people of Moreh also knew it.
The kind of act is carried out by the Indian Security forces to suppress the freedom struggle of the people of the region and also to create fear psychosis to the people of the region.
Manipuri people, particularly the working class community should condemn such act of the Indian Security forces at which a daily wage earner lady was shot dead mercilessly, said that statement. The statement further added that the people of Moreh, irrespective of their communities should rise to punish those involved in the heinous crime.
