Union Minister of state for External Affairs, Dr. RK Ranjan today deliberated the book MODI@20 “Dreams Meet Delivery’ while inaugurating the Abhiyan at Moreh College here in Manipur.
The book Modi@20: Dreams meet Delivery was launched on May 11, 2022 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi by Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu. The book was published by Rupa Publications. It is a collection of twenty one chapters written by twenty two domain dignitaries from Home Minister Amit Shah to the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Sudha Murty among others.
Dr. Ranjan said that the book is about the twenty years political journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, first as the three times chief minister of Gujarat and later as two times Prime Minister of India. He served our country both at the state level as well as national level.
He further said that Dr. Ranjan said ‘Modi@20: Dreams meet Delivery’ is a book based on the 20 years journey of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi as the head of the government from becoming the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001 to being elected as the Prime Minister of India in 2014 and re-elected in 2019. It is published by Rupa Publications and written by 22 intellectuals and eminent citizens of the country which includes P.V. Sindhu, Shobana Kamineni, Surjit S. Bhalla, Amish Tripathi, Amit Shah, Pradeep Gupta, Anantha Nageswaran, Arvind Panagariya, Shamika Ravi. Uday S. Kotak, Ajay Mathur, Anupam Kher, Ashok Gulati, Dr. Devi Shetty, Nandan Nilekani, Inripendra Misr, Sadhguru, Sudha Murthy, Ajit Doval K.C., Manoj Ladwa, Bharat Barai, and Dr. S. Jaishankar. This book is divided into 5 sections and 21 chapters. The first section describes the social impact of Modi. The second section includes the political and cultural impact. The third section is economics which includes the description of the economic reforms. The fourth section is about the governance model describing the various facets of Modi’s government such as crisis management, citizen engagement, and use of technology, The fifth section is about India’s engagement with the world which includes foreign policy, defense policy, and diaspora.

Today’s programme was attended by members of CSOs, Meetei Council Moreh, Hill Tribal Council, Tamil Sangam, Manipuri Muslim Council Moreh, Gurkha Samaj & other government officials.
