The United Kuki Liberation Front in a press Statement clarified the allegation made by one NPP Candidate Lunkhopao Haokip, who alleged United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) for involving in brutal attack of his workers as a baseless and made up story. On the alleged incident of 29th January, 2022, the UKLF clarifies that its cadres were never involved in the incident and any other activities that contradict the So0 ground rules. Till date, UKLF strictly adheres the So0 ground rules and are confined in the designated peace camp as per the instruction of the Authority concern where several inspections had been conducted.
The organisation extended its sympathy to the victims of the incident but condemned the false allegation of Lunkhopao Haokip for maligning the image of UKLF, the press release added.
The press release further said, “Lunkhopao Haokip should come before the Organisation to clarify his allegation to damage the image of UKLF failing which the organisation will bar him and his workers from entering its operational area.”
