United Golapati Hatta Development Council (UGHDC) has appealed the people not to believe in the rumour spread by a gang which tried to malign the name of Dr. MA Rajaque, Retd Prof. RIMS by a gang. In a press meet held at Manipur Press Club, convenor of the Council, Hajo Arafat Ali said that some gang are sending people to the resident of the reputed doctor telling them to collect their stolen vehicles or any other commodities. He said that the gang seems to have collected money from the owner of the lost commodities and sent the owners to collect the vehicle or laptop from the residence of the doctor. He said the matter has been informed to the SP Imphal East and the council is all set to conduct a drive for tracing out the members of the gang.
