Two-Day National Conference on Biological Sciences held at Pole Star College

A two-day national conference on the theme “Recent Trends in Biological Sciences” was successfully held on July 25 and 26 at Pole Star College, Hiyanglam-Wabagai. The event was jointly organized by the Department of Zoology and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college in collaboration with the College Development Council (CDC) of Manipur University.
The academic gathering was held under the patronage of Prof. Debananda S. N., Dean of the School of Life Sciences, Manipur University, and Prof. Hanjabam Shukhdeba Sharma, Director of the CDC, Manipur University. The conference brought together a vibrant mix of students, researchers, and academics to engage with recent advancements and evolving trends in biological sciences.
Featuring four invited speakers, the conference attracted around 90 participants from different parts of the country including Manipur, Guwahati, Chhattisgarh, Shillong, and Haridwar, as well as international attendees from the United States. The sessions were marked by interactive discussions and knowledge-sharing on a wide array of topics within the biological sciences.
