A training programme based on “Cropping System” was organised by the District Agriculture Officer, Thoubal under the National Food Security Mission (NFSM)-Rice (1st Instalment) 2014-15, on Saturday at Community hall of Leirongthel Pitra, Heirok Constituency Assembly.
The dignitaries of the programme included, District Agriculture Officer, Thoubal, Thounaojam Gyaneshwar Singh, Deputy Project Director,Imphal East-ATMA,L.Sanatombi Singh and Technical Expert,in charge Plant Health Clinic,Directorate of Agriculture,Kh.Nimaichand Singh as the presidium members respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, L.Sanatombi Singh, Deputy Project Director, Imphal East, ATMA, gave a detailed information about the common destructive insects and pests, elaborated on the use of modern technology to improve productivity and to protect crops from diseases.
