Three bullet-riddled dead bodies recovered in Churachandpur

LAMKA, July 25: Churachandpur Police retrieved 3 bodies from Sialmat village, under Saikot sub-division, and Thingchom village under Henglep sub-division of Churachandpur district at around 2:30 pm yesterday and this morning at around 6:30 am. According to police sources, Jackson Kamlun (43) son of late Janglun who was shot death at his head was a member  of Kuki National Front (KNF) and later left the organization and joined Kuki National Organization (KNO), and then later joined United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF). His death was believed to be the handiwork of one of the proscribed groups presently under Suspension of Operation (SoO) with Govt. of India and Manipur state government like KNO/KNA. The other two who were shot death, one in the stomach and the other in the head were yet to be identified till filing of this report.
