Imphal, May 2:The ‘Oorja’ Football Talent Hunt Tournament 2017 commenced on 01 May 2017 at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium amidst much fanfare and jubiliation. The ten day football extravaganza from 01-10 May 2017which will see the best teams vying for the top spot in Manipur, is being organized by 9 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of IGAR(S).
Governor of Manipur, Dr Najma A Heptulla, graced the opening ceremony as the Chief Guest. Yumnam Joy Kumar Singh, Deputy Chief Minister, Manipur and Letpao Haokip, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports were present as Guests of Honour.
