The Tengnoupal Women Human Rights Organization appeal the Villagers of Aimol Chingsang and Saivom Village in Chandel District to shun violence over the recent land dispute and urged to settle the matter peacefully.In a press statement signed by Mercy Mate, President of Tengnoupal Women Human Rights Organization said that since time immemorial, the villagers of Aimol Chingsang and Saivom Village have been living together peacefully for the many generations.However, it is very unfortunate to leant that the two villagers were indulged in violence by attacking each other and dismantling houses recently due to some misunderstanding over a piece of land, added the statement.The Organization appealed both the villagers to refrain from such act of violence which will only create hatred and bring more bloodshed among them who have been peacefully settled together for centuries. And the organisation also urge both parties to left behind all their differences and come to negotiating table at the earliest in order to find peaceful amicable solution.
