Tanker truck caught in fire

An oil tanker truck today caught in fire while trying to mend a crack at its body part using electric rod at around 7.15 am today. The incident happened at Friends workshop which is located at Wangkhei opposite to Eastern ground. A mechanic identified as M. Sana Singh sustain minor injury after he fall from the vehicle. According to him he was trying to mend a crack appeared at the top of the tanker’s body and soon after the electric rod touch the body fire broke out and he felt. Fire service personnel who arrived at the spot timely extinguished the fire.
