Imphal, July 28: 2 state Taekwondo players of the state – Thokchom Rakesh and Khundrakpam Sanathoi, who begged Gold and Silver medal respectively in the recently held “1st Kalimpong Open Taekwondo Championship” at Kalimpong in Darjeeling from July 22 to July 24 were today felicitated by Trio Development Club Khangabok at Lai Lam Thokpham Community Hall.
Thokchom Rakesh, S/O Joykumar is a resident of Khangabok Part 2 Mayai leikai. He won a Gold medal in 53 kg category. Khundrakpam Sanathoina, S/o Sunilkumar of Khangabok part 1 Sorok Wangma won Silver medal in 44 Kg category. Both are students of New Public Higher Secondary School, Khangabok.
