Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Imphal Airport

Airport Authority of India (AAI) in collaboration with Central Industrial Security force (CISF) conducted a cleanliness drive under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in an attempt to give an awareness to the passengers in Tulihal Airport Imphal with a mandate to make Imphal airport the clean airport in India within three months. It was also made clear to all the passengers and also the airlines and airport  staffs to make the maximum use of the available dustbin so that the airport is not littered. It may be noted that the employees of AAI and CISF conducted that cleanliness drive while doing their own official duty. It was also decided to mark every Wednesday of every week to identified areas that needed to be clean and the cleanliness drive will be conducted every Saturday. This is in pursuance with our present Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi commitment to make India clean and ensure the safe environment for all the citizens.
