Amidst all hectic measures for prevention of drug abuse particularly by ANJUMAN at Thoubal district areas, drug user continue to procure the abusive substances not fearing the society imposition. Last night at around 9.30 pm volunteers of ANJUMAN rounded up 3 substance users while coming to buy drugs Lamding area. The volunteers of ANJUMAN from Sangaiyumpham Part 1 and MSDO Sangaiyumpham while interrogating the three substance users came to know and drug peddler from Sangaiyumpham area. All the four, after giving counseling , were latter handed to Thoubal Police.
The ANJUMAN has been keeping vigils all the time to control the use and selling of drugs at Lilong, Sangaiyumphama and Moijing area .
