State remembers Gambhir Singh on his 181 Death Anniversary

State paid befitting tribute to Maharaja Gambhir Singh, who played a vital role in driving out Burmese from Manipur and Cachar, on his 181th Death Anniversary.
The observance of 181th Death Anniversary of Maharaja Gambhir Singh was held at the Samadhi of Maharaja, Langthabal.
The function was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam and Karam Shyam, MLA, Langthabal AC as Chief Guest and President while I.Hemochandra Minister PHED as Guest of Honour. K. Radhakumar Singh DC Imphal West and Dr.K. Sobita Director Art & Culture were also attended in the observance.
The observance was organized by State Archaeology, Department of Art and Culture, Government of Manipur.
