Seigo Kai Karate Do Association of Kangleipak (Manipur) issued a press release to announce that the state Karate team which took part in the Raha Cup All India Invitational Seigo Kai Karate Do Tournament 2015 held at Sodepur, Kolkata from 23rd to 24th June 2015 returned with a rich haul of medals. Thongam Suraj Singh (Below 14 years Boys) and Thongam Kenner Singh (Below 8 years Boys) won the Silver Medal for Kumite while Laishram Thaja Devi (Below 13 years Gilrs), Ningtambi Thangjam (Below 14years Girls), Kangujam Jenishta (Below 10 years Girls) and ThongamRanjan Singh (Below 56 Kg 19 years above- Senior boys) won Bronze medals for the state. Ningtambi Thangjam also added to the haul with a Bronze medal in the Kata (Below 14 years Girls category). N Washington Meetei and Soraisham Rita Chanu accompanied the team as Coach and Manager respectively.
