Properties valued at more than 2 lacs were destroyed when a house was partially razed by fire at Keisamthong Top Leirak today at around 10:30 am. The fire broke out due to the leakage of cooking gas. However the state fire service arrived in time and managed to prevent further loss. The owner, Aribam Benand Sharma (56) also own Angel Electronics at Thangal Bazar and many electrical items stocked at his home were also reportedly destroyed in the fire.
