State Anthem

All Manipur Matam Isei Kanglup (AMMIK) today urged the state government to adopt the famous song “Sana Leibak Manipur” written by late B. Jyantakumar Sharma as the state anthem. In a pree meet held today at Manipur press club, the AMMIK urged the government to announce the song as state anthem before the Shardha of the late lyricist.
A spokesperson of AMMIK  said that Sana Leibak Manipur is a popular lyrics written by the late lyricist and is one of the masterpiece of B. Jyentakumar Sharma which depicted the essence of patroitism. He said adopting the song as national anthem will be a mark of respect to the departed soul.
