A Special Discussion on the present issue of Manipur was organised by All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO) along with Rural United Clubs Organisation at the Community Hall of WDYC, Lamdeng Khunou Ground at around 1:00 pm today. The special discussion was attended by Clubs, Associations, Organisations Meira Paibis, and along with the local folks, which fall under the jurisdiction of RUCO.
Maibam Sureshkumar, former Co-ordination, Department of Human Rights, Manipur University deliberated on Human rights violations in the current turmoil and the role of the public, club, organisation, and Meira Paibis to face such rights violations.
Ito Tongbram, advisor of AMUCO reiterated the stand of safeguarding the territorial integrity of the state and to face unitedly anything that will endanger the territorial integrity of Manipur.
L Memchoubi, President of Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Manipur speaks about the vital role of women and Imas in the present situation.
President of AMUCO, Nando Luwang also speak about the present violence in the state and the stand to safeguard the territorial integrity of Manipur.
