A Workshop-cum-Production of “Tangkhul Nurabi Dance” was organised by the Ima Chingjroibi Cultural Academy (ICCA) at Chanura Odeum, Khurai Chairenthong, Imphal East District, Manipur, on September 14.
The programme, aimed at promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Manipur, was held with the support of the Sangeet Natak Akademi, Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
The event was graced by K. Jamuna Devi as the Chief Guest, while P. Prabila Devi attended as the Guest of Honour, Kh. Premananda Singh presided over the programme.
The workshop-cum-production provided a platform for participants and cultural practitioners to engage with and showcase the traditional dance form “Tangkhul Nurabi,” highlighting the importance of safeguarding indigenous performing arts and passing them on to future generations.
The programme was organised by Ima Chingjroibi Cultural Academy (ICCA), Khurai Konsam Leikai, Imphal East District, with sponsorship from the Sangeet Natak Akademi, Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
