Smuggled fertilizers seized at Pallel

Imphal, Oct. 1: State police seized 25 bags of fertiliser from two vans in front of Pallel Police station while trying to smuggle at Myanmar.
Report reaching here said that, a team of police while checking an Eco-Van coming towards Moreh side bearing registration number MN05A-4805 found 10 (ten) bags of Urea fertilizer  inside it at around 10.30 am yesterday. While asking for relevant document to the driver of the van identified as .K.  Meipaksana Singh (36) S/o (L) R.K. Khedasana Singh of Chongtham Kona Wangoi, Imphal West, it was found that the fertilisers were trying to smuggle at Myanmar.
A similar van carrying 15 bags of Urea Fertilizer was also caught around the same time from the same place. The registration number of the vehicle is  MN1A-8852 and the driver is identified as Md. Ibo (41) S/o Md. Babu Khan of Kshetri Awang Leikai, Imphal East.
Both the persons were arrested after seizing the fertiliser bags.
