Thoubal, Oct.1: As part of the 62nd Wildlife Week Celebration, a painting and essay writing competition under the theme “Reach Flora and Fauna of Manipur,” and “Role of Youths, Students in Protection & Conservation of Wildlife in Manipur” was held today at Lamding Higher Secondary School, Thoubal district.
The Divisional Level painting and Article competition was organized by the Range Forest Officer, Thoubal under the leadership of RK.Amarjit, District Forest Officer, Thoubal.
The competition organised in two categories; spot painting competition for class V to VIII and an essay writing competition for class IX to XII.
Over 100 students from different educational institutions from the district took part in the painting and article writing competition.
