Security forces recovered six improvised explosive devices (IEDs), a drone bomb and other arms and ammunition during a search operation at Khordak Patton area of Bishnupur district on Wednesday morning.
According to police, a joint team of district police and security forces launched the operation around 5.30 am following inputs about a cache of weapons and other items concealed in and around Khordak.
The recovered items included one country-made MP-5 with magazine, four hand grenades, one country-made drone bomb, six IEDs, five magazines of different weapons and ammunition.
The explosives and other items were reportedly concealed in plastic sacks.
Authorities have not indicated whether any arrests were made in connection with the recovery.
