Society for New Kumbi Constituency, Kumbi, Bishnupur District, Manipur is organising a Joint Site Seeeing cum Public Solidarity function on the 14th of February at 9 AM for a proposed “Sangai Sanctuary” at Kumbi inside the Dampi Reserved Forests comprising the northern end portion of Tamphakhunou Bypass to Hawaipokpi. According to a statement made available to the press, Wahengbam Rorrkychand, Co-convenor, Society for New Kumbi Constituency, the function will be held at Kumbi Keithel and requests all well wishers of the proposed sanctuary to attend the function and to show their support and solidarity for the initiative.
