Sit-in-protests continue in various parts of the state in demand of Inner Line Permit System in Manipur under the aegis of Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS).Places where sit-in-protests were staged are Lamboikhong-nangkhong, Samushang, Uripok Achom Leikai, Polem Leikai, Lamshang Bazar, Taothong Lamkhai, Iroishembam Maning Leikai Tower Manak, Iroishemba, Naoremthong, Uripok Ningthoukhongjam Leikai, Huidrom Leikai, Transformer Manak, Thoubal Bazar, Thangapat.Meanwhile, those arrested in connection with the protest has not been released till today. The JCILP had set deadline for their released on Sept 19.
