Imphal, June 19: JAC against the announcement of wanted on JCILPS leader Khomdram Ratan and implementation of ILPS, Singjamei Wangma Bhagyabati Leikai today staged a sit in protest at Singjamei bridge.
Speaking to the media persons, Irom Rajen, General Secretary of United Youth Organisation (UYO), Singjamei Wangma Bhagyabati Leikai said that public meeting will be held at Singjamei Bridge tomorrow against the announcement of wanted tag on Kh Ratan including the implementation of ILPS in the state.
“The inhumane act of the state government on the protestors for the ongoing agitation of implementation of ILPS and announcement of wanted on JCILPS leader of Khomdram Ratan is very unfortunate”, Irom Rajen said.
JAC appeals the concern authority to withdraw the baseless charge against Kh. Ratan and also demanded immediate implementation of ILPS in the state, immediately, Rajen added.
Rajen further said that protest and different form of agitation will be continued until ILPS is implemented in the state besides lifting of the wanted tag to Kh Ratan.
