Sensitization Workshop on AB-PMJAY and CMHT held

Imphal, Feb 27:

Sensitization Workshop on Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) was held today at City Convention Centre, Imphal, being organized by State Health Agency Manipur.
Mention may be made that, Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) are both health insurance schemes currently implemented in the state for providing free hospitalization treatment to the poor and vulnerable families. With the schemes approaching its Seven (7) years of implementation since 2018, many appropriate families with various health issues have been benefitted by both the schemes.
Nevertheless, both the scheme is yet to reach its saturation level in terms of enrolment and awareness regarding the various provisions contained in both the schemes for beneficiary empowerment as well as hospital operations. In this regard, such Sensitization Workshop on Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) is the foremost inevitability.
In today’sSensitization Workshop, various experts of State Health Agency, Dr. Irengbam Bijeta Devi, Policy Manager; Rinsophy Chamroy, IEC Manager; Irengbam Michael, Data Support & IT Manager; Kh. Jolita, Trainer ISA; Dr. N. Pratapchandra, CMO.ISA; W. Santoshi, Grievance Executive ISA and Titus Gangmei, Call Centre Lead ISA shared their insights on topics namely AB-PMJAY and CMHT in Health Insurance, Overview of AB-PMJAY and CMHT scheme in Manipur, PMJAY and CMHT Portals and Apps, Treatment Packages under AB-PMJAY and CMHT and Grievances & Call Centre.
Media Persons, Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) and Implementation Support Agency AB-PMJAY and CMHT also participated at today’s Sensitization Workshop. Interactive session between the participants and the experts of the State Health Agency along with distribution of certificates to the participants were also the main highlights of today’s Workshop.
