Self style President of Anti-Corruption body arrested

A self-styled state president of the Anti Corruption Foundation of India (ACFI) allegedly registered under the I.T.A, NITI Aayog, and MSME Govt. of India, certified by the National Vigilance Commission was arrested by a team of Imphal East District Police at around 5.30 pm yesterday.
The person has been identified as Md. Mansoor Alam (Aged about 40 years) of Kairang Mayai Leikai in Imphal East.
An additional source said that the person had also claimed to be the spokesperson of Chief Minister N. Biren Singh on the social networking site – Facebook.
On Sunday, the CMO stated that “fake news was being circulated in social media by one Mansoor Alam, claiming himself to be the official spokesperson of the CM.”
The statement clarified that “neither the CM nor the CM’s office Manipur has any official spokesperson and Mansoor Alam is not connected in any way whatsoever with the functioning of the CM.
