Cabinet Minister Thongam Biswajit has released a Manipuri music video based on War on Drugs called “Poppy Leirang” at Manipur Press Club today. MLA Karam Shyam, MLA Kh. Ibomcha, SP NAB K, Meghachandra, Upadhyaksha of Imphal East Dr. Ksh Tama and Social Worker Leitanthem Basanta also attended the music video releasing function as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion Th. Biswajit, Minister of Power, Environment and Climate Change, Agriculture, Science and Technology appreciated the Production team of the music video as it will enhance the awareness campaign against the menace of narcotic drugs.
“I appreciate all the production team of the music video and the singer, P. Rajendro Meetei in particular for the effort to spread awareness about the menace of narcotic drugs in the state”, Minister Biswajit said adding that the music video will boost the “War on Drugs” campaign which is going on in the state under the initiative of the Chief Minister N. Biren Singh.
