Combined troops of Assam Rifles, CRPF, and State police today conducted combing operations at 19 different places in six districts of Manipur today. The SF also conducted combing operations at some parts of Churachandpur district. As per first-hand information, the SF recovered lethod bombs and other materials from the residence of one Retd. Sub Deputy Collector (SDC). Details of the operation are awaited at the time of filing this report.
Report said that the combined troop of 9 Sector AR, State Police, and the CRPF conducted a search operation at Koken Village and Sangaithel Village in Imphal West district at around 8.30 am in the presence of Executive Magistrate.
Source from the Home Department of the Government of India said that the combined security forces will be conducting combing operation at 10 different places of Imphal West and Imphal East districts today. Similar operation will also be conducted at 4 places in Kangpokpi district, 1 place in Kakching district, 3 places in Bishnupur district and at 1 place in Jiribam district at the same hour today.
