SEACO appeals to celebrate Pisatao Lainingthou

South East Asia Cultural Organization (SEACO) has appealed the people of the state to celebrate Lainingthou Pisatao Khutheiba on September 17. The appealed is being made particularly to the craftsman, artisan and architect.
In a press statement the organization said that Meitei nation has their unique culture and tradition but after the force conversion of Meitei to Hindu religion during reign of king Pamheiba, most the culture or traditions has been replaced. It is the responsibility of today’s generation to preserve our religion and culture. It further said that the picture of Lainingthou Paisathao Khutheiba will be available at SEACO office of Sagolband Moirang Leirak Machin, Imphal.
