RIMS observes World Rose Day

The department of Radiation Oncology, RIMS, Imphal organized World Rose Day observation at Conference Hall of Radiation Oncology, RIMS. The Director of RIMS Prof. A. Santa Singh graced the observation as Chief Guest. Prof. Nepram Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital and Dr. T. Dhaneshor Sharma, Head of Radiation Oncology Department, RIMS were on dais as presidium members. Prof. A. Santa Singh stated that by observing World Rose Day, we bring happiness and hope into the lives of such patients and reminds them that they can emerge victorious in their battle against cancer through determination and positivity. Most of the patients coming to Radiation Oncology Department are poor and we thank the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for providing various schemes for cancer patients. The institute is also providing affordable health care services. Later on, fruits and edible items were distributed to the cancer patients admitted in the wards.
BJP OBC Morcha, Manipur Pradesh also distributed fruits and sweets to the cancer patients as a part of SEVA AUR SAMARPAN ABHIYAN on the occasion of 71st birthday celebration of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. R.K. Nongdrenkhomba, President, BJP OBC Morcha, Th. Basanta Singh, Vice President, BJP Manipur Pradesh, H. Basan Singh, Vice President, BJP OBC Morcha, Manipur Pradesh and officials of BJP OBC Morcha were present during the program.
