Imphal, May 14: 2 Candidates who had appeared the interview for recruitment to various posts in Fire Services today begins relay hunger strike at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai community hall demanding announcement of the result. All Manipur Fire services Candidates and Guardians’ Association had earlier urged the government to announce the result within May 10 .
Y. Debendra and M Jibankumar, two among the candidates begin relay hunger strike from today. Jibankumar said that the interview was conducted in 2014 and till now the result is yet to declared.
He added that as the Government had failed to announce the result within the given time, they had called blockade for 48 hours some days back and now they are going on fast-unto-death protest.
