Imphal, May 14: As part of the world-wide celebration, Mother’s Day was observed at Meitei Baptist Church at Yairipok today. Pastor of Phayeng Baptist Church Angom Kiran gave an insightful speech on the responsibilities of a mother and affectionate treatment of mothers. Woman members of the church were honored for their motherhood with token gifts. Another highlight of the event was distribution of gifts and monthly honorarium to senior citizens of the locality and middle-aged and young widows.
