Reception ceremony held for RS MP Sharda

Rajya Sabha MP Adhikarimayum Sharda has called for collective efforts by citizens and political leaders to resolve the prolonged unrest in Manipur, saying the responsibility for restoring peace cannot be left to the government alone.

MP Sharda made the statement during a reception ceremony held at Kakching Chumnang Leikai Community Hall. The programme was jointly organised by the Kakching District Yogasana Sports Association, District Yoga Training & Research Association, headquartered at Kakching, and Self Help Groups of Kakching Ward No. 4.

The programme was attended by Naorem Achouba, Advisor of the Kakching District Yogasana Sports Association and District Yoga Training & Research Association; Naorem Ibomcha, President of the Kakching District Yogasana Sports Association and Function President of the programme; and Kakching Municipal Council Councillors P.
