Imphal, Sept. 18: Youth’s Forum for Protection of Human Rights also staged a protest rally from Uchiwa Wangma Awang Leikai to Sekmaijin Thong demanding investigation to the suspicious death of Pravish in Noida, UP.
A statement of the forum expressed suspicion about some gang smuggling body organs and said that the organs could have been removed with understanding between police and hospital authority as the dead body was disposed without circulating prior information.
Meanwhile, a candle light protest on theme Justice for Pravish Chanam was held on September 15, 2017 at the Arts Faculty, University of Delhi. Relatives and friends of late Pravish, volunteers of Manipur Students’ Association Delhi and others attended the protest.
