Imphal, Oct 7: Locals of Langmeidong area in Thoubal district today staged a mass sit-in-protest at Langmeidong keithel. Around hundreds of women of the area displayed placards demanding immediate punishment of the culprit involved to the killing of the 15 years old girl.
Yumnam Rojita who is all set to get married on October 21 was found murdered and her dead body was found at a community pond at Langmeidong.
A letter written by the girl was also found and as according to the content of the letter Rojita killed herself after her groom insulted her.
Yesterday evening large number of people of the area pour their anger to the residence of the groom by destroying the house.
