Local Meira Paibis of Uripok Khaidem Leikai today staged a sit-in-protest at the locality denouncing the attack to the residence of Meisanam Ragumani (54) son of late M.Chaomu by firing rounds of gunshots yesterday midnight.
Wife of Ragumani Bijesori speaking to the media person said that last mid-night at around 12:30 am, 2 rounds of gun shots were heard. Early today morning the family came to notice that the gun shots were attempted at their residence. A four wheeler vehicle which was parked near gate was hit by the bullets.
She further said that they had not received any threat from any underground organizations and appealed authority concerned to clarify over the matter.
