Project affected people of Manipur to petition

Imphal July 4: Some organizations and project affected people resolved to petition the Governor and the Government of Manipur in view of the importance of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition.

Indigenous Perspectives (IP) and Centre for Organization, Research and Education (CORE) are concern that the rules are published only in English language with no consultations of the public. The two organizations are going to organize a press conference at Jupiter Yambem Center tomorrow at 2 pm in connection with this.
