Imphal July4: Felicitation cum blessing function of S. Khupboi Aimol, the first direct Manipur Civil Service (MCS) Officer among the Aimol Tribe was held at Khodamphai Village Community Hall in Chandel District on Thursday.
The program which was organized by Sumliai Paraul was attended by Rev. Semi Serto, Executive Secretary of Aimol Baptist Association as the Blessing Minister.
Apart from delivering congratulatory speeches by several dignitaries, S. Khupboi Aimol, the 9th rank holder in the unreserved seat of Manipur Civil Service Combine Competitive Examination 2013, also shared about his achievement with the congregation during the program.
Ch. Chanthoi Aimol, Deputy Chairman (Planning) ADC Chandel; Sote Aimol , General Secretary of Aimol Tribe Union Manipur (ATUM); S. Munthuijir Aimol, Executive Engineer of Manipur Development Society; S. K. Aimol, Deputy Vice-President of Axis Bank Imphal; S. M. Aimol , Executive Engineer of North East Regional Power Corporation (NERPC) Shillong also attended the program besides Village Chiefs, Church leaders and Student Leaders of the Aimol Tribe.
It may be mentioned that S. Khupboi Aimol was a 2009 batch Indian Economic Service (IES) and serving as Senior Research Officer, Planning Commission of India, New Delhi. He also served as Research Officer of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) , Mumbai and was selected for different jobs in the Country.
