The Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) has declared the results for this year’s examination. Out of 29,065 students who appeared for the examination, 27,175 students successfully passed, achieving an overall pass percentage of 94%. In both Science, Arts, and Commerce streams, many students have emerged as toppers and achievers. In this regard, the All Meetei-Pangal Students’ Union of Manipur (AMPSUM) has issued a statement expressing that producing such good and talented students is highly encouraging and praiseworthy.
In particular, AMPSUM Vice-President Salman Khurshid highlighted the remarkable achievement of Epham Ruhima from Keirao Makting Mayai Leikai, who secured the 12th position in the Science stream. He proudly mentioned that Ruhima stood fifth among six siblings. She pursued her education at The Shining Star English School, Keirao Makting Mayai Leikai (Nursery to Class 2), St. George High School, Wangkhei (Class 3 to 5), and Navodaya Vidyalaya, Yaralpat (Class 6 to 10). For her higher studies, she continued at Pioneer Academy, Bamon Kampu.
Ruhima scored 464 marks, obtaining a letter mark in five out of six subjects. She is currently undergoing NEET coaching and plans to pursue further education and attempt the UPSC examinations as well. She is determined to work hard and bring honor to her family and society. AMPSUM also acknowledged the crucial role played by her parents, teachers, and everyone involved in her success.
