Problems faced by Diesel Auto service providers in Churachandpur discussed

Problems and harassment faced by Diesel Auto service providers in Churachandpur town were highlighted during a General Assembly cum Election meet of the Churachandpur District Diesel Auto Owners Association held today at K Aichin Park near Mata Village  in Churachandpur . The General Assembly began from 11:30 am.

The Association has at least 700 Diesel auto vehicles and is covering more than 23 lines in Churachandpur town .

The association though provided an important services   to the public as conveyance of various destination faced problems of unnecessary halt and frisking by the police while commuting the public and monetary demands from various UG groups, speakers on the occasion said.

The matter was discussed in today’s general assembly but no decision on the matter was taken. 

In the election Seiboi Haokip was elected as President while Khamsuan Ngaihte has been elected the General Secretary.  Doumang Haokip N Khamsiam was elected as Finance Secretary and treasurer.
