Imphal, April 18: President of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Imphal-East District Md Abdullah passes away yesterday at Rahman Hospital, Guwahati due to an illness.
Md Abdullah was 68 years when he passes away and survive by four sons and three daughters.
His lifeless body was brought from his residence at Keirao Mangjil Sabal Leikai to BJP Imphal-East District office at Lairelpat, Thongju.
Members of BJP Core Committee and members of BJP party paid homage to the late president.
Members of BJP Core Committee expresses that during his president ship term, many candidate of BJP have won various elections and some have even became the Chief Minister of Manipur.
Sudden dead of Md Abdullah has left a big hole in the party and it won’t be possible to replace his president position by someone else in the near future.
