Prepared for intense agitations: Written test passed constables

Imphal, Aug. 2: Members of the All Manipur Written Test Successful Candidate 2013 Batch Police Constable Association tried to storm the CM bungalow today. Around 70 members participated in the rally, however police stopped them just near the CM Bungalow and sent back them to Yaiskul police lane.
The rally was organised after the All Manipur Written Test Successful Candidate 2013 Batch Police Constable Association held a sit in protest at Keihsampat Community hall.
The Joint secretary of the association Suresh Nameirakpam said that that association staged numerous protest rallies and even bandhs placing their demand to the State Govt to declare the results of the 10287 candidates. However the government has failed to declare the result and instead has conducted recruitment of fresh candidates. He further added that if the government failed to fulfill the demand at the earliest then the association is all set for a series of intense agitations.
