Proscribed armed group, PREPAK (Pro) slams MP RK Ranjan over his statement that blamed parents of children for the rise in anti social activities like drug use among student community.
A statement by Th. Ishingchaoba , Assistant Publicity Secretary, PREPAK (Pro) said that Dr. RK . Ranjan’s irresponsible statement at which he stated that the present chaotic situation in the state is the product of irresponsible parents make no sense. The statement further said that he even mislead the parliament by stating that Manipur merged to India o October 15, 1950, when it was Oct. 15, 1949.
The PREPAK (Pro) questioned the MP saying that which parents would like to encourage their children in using drugs and other intoxicants. Dr. Ranjan should know who are transporting and smuggling drugs in the state , it added.
