Proscribed group PREPAk said that there is no person called Ibotombi or Lanthoi in the party. In a press statement of the outfit Publicity Officer, Department of Publicity and Propaganda, People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak, stated that the news item published in most of the newspaper published in Imphal regarding the threatening of a driver to pay rupees 6 lakhs or the hijacked vehicle, is in no way related with the party. It said that one Laishram Ibomcha @ Ibotombi Singh (41) S/O. L . Murei of Kyamgei Maning leikai Lai Nongsaba Leirak, who was formerly District ki Commander of Imphal West has been expelled from the party on July 18 this year and that has been published in the newspaper. On the other hand , the PREPAK had earlier stated that all financial related matter will be look after by Captain Ichangba @ Ingen.
