PREPAK celebrates 37th Red Army uprising day; Shows serious concern to a student body who called bandh on the day

Imphal, March 27: Proscribed group PREPAK celebrate its 37th Red Army Uprising Day along with various communities of the state. A statement of the outfit signed by   its Secretary –In –Charge Leibakngakpa Luwang said that the main function was held at its General Head Quarter . Other function were also held at Technical head quarters, base areas, training centers and other transit camp.
The main function held at its General head Quarter was graced by the Chief of the Red Army Lt. Com N Romi Meitei as the Chief Guest.
As a mark of respect to those departed soul in the freedom struggle the party cadres maintained a two minutes silence.
Chairman of the Military Affairs Committee of the outfit deliver speech on the occasion and wished the people for their support to the peoples’ struggle.
On the other hand the PREPAK statement showed serious concern to the calling of general strike on the important day of the outfit. The outfit said that such a challenge to the outfit by calling general strike on its most important day will be remembered as an attempt to sabotage the party’s movement. It appealed all concern to rethink and exempt all bandh or blockade on any important occasion of the revolutionary groups of the state.
The PREPAK however extended its wishes to all the people who had supported its cause by encouraging the party.
