Imphal, July 23: 10 volunteers belonging to Workers of CAF and Public Distribution Labourers Welfare Association, Sangaiprou today protested the government apathy towards their demands, which among others, including raising of wage rates by taking up a fast unto death while chaining themselves up to the railings of Bir Tikendrajit flyover bridge. Later all of them have been picked up by City police after cutting the chains off the railings.
