State police today conducted search operation at two different places in Imphal area as a part of the security measures.At around 4.30 am today morning a team od Imphal East Police commando led by Additional SP Rajen cordon and conducted search operation at Soibam Leikai area. At least 4 persons were picked up by the police team for further verification.Around the same timing, another team of state police lead by the Additional SP Meghachandra of Imphal West also conducted search operation at Takhel leikai area.Th police team verified suspicious looking person one after another during the search operation. Later 6 persons were picked up for further verification at Imphal West Police Station as they did not possessed valid documents.
