Imphal, Sept. 29:
An MOU for implementation of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB – PMJAY) has been signed between Shija Eye Care Foundation, State Health Agency, Govt. of Manipur and Medi Assist Insurance TPA Pvt. Ltd. on 23 rd September, 2020.
With the signing of the said MOU, beneficiaries of AB – PMJAY can avail the advanced eye care services of Shija Eye Care Foundation. The signed MOU was handed to Ch. Dhananjoy, Sr. Advocate, Manipur High Court who is also the Secretary, Shija Foundation on the occasion of 2 nd Anniversary of AB – PMJAY at a solemn function organized at the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West.
In today’s function, Mr. Laishram Gunachandra Singh, Arogya Mitra of Shija Hospitals was awarded as the Best Arogya Mitra from Private Hospital Category for reliable and consistent service and support at Shija Hospitals help-desk with claims portal handling skills on TMS. He was given a Certificate and a cash award of Rs. 5000/-.
Shija Eye Care Foundation has 6 full time specialists with sub specialty supported by more than 50 staff. It is mentored by LAICO and Aravind Eye Care Systems, Madurai. Facilities of Shija Eye Care Foundation are Glaucoma, Cornea, Diabetic Retinopathy, Cataract, Pediatric Ophthalmology & Squint, Oculoplasty, Ptosis, Entropion, Ectropion, Orbitotomy, Community Ophthalmology, etc. The signing of MOU will greatly benefit the beneficiaries of AB – PMJAY card holders to undergo various eye treatments.
