Farmers training programme on Cropping System based training under National Food Security Mission (NFSM) was conducted today at Chandel Khullen Village, Chandel. The programme was organized by District Agriculture Office, Chandel. The programme was attended by Ts. Gladny Monsang, District Agriculture Officer, Chandel; Ts. Leenda Monsang, ACTO (Plant Breeding), KVK Chandel and Rt. Hringlun, District SMS, Agriculture Department, Chandel as presidium member. During the event Cropping System base training were conducted for the farmers. The resource persons were Ts. Leenda Monsang, ACTO (Plant Breeding), KVK Chandel; Maku Jimrose, ATM, Khangbarol (ATMA); Tailyn Hrangbung, BTM, Chakpikarong (ATMA) and Rl. Peter, ATM Tengnoupal (ATMA). Thereafter the training, interaction programme was also conducted between the farmers and experts. 50 farmers have attended the training and interaction programme. Fieldpea variety Aman seeds were distributed to the farmers.
